Day 121

Midweek.   Wed. that means it's the wishcasting day on Jamie Ridler Studios.   Her question this week is "what delights do you wish for?"
I think that's one of the toughest ones yet that she's asked. I think a new environment.  Something that inspires me, people who inspire me.  I still have traveling and moving on my mind and maybe this will bring it out a bit faster.
Delights= new places, new people.

And someone awhile back asked me why I don't say "wish"  I say "intend"   It's truly what the old saying "careful what you wish for you just might get it"  really means.   It's not what you are asking for, it's how you ask.  Which I learned the hard way.

I am grateful for Jamie Ridler having started this weekly circle, and the  delights I intend for myself are new places and new people.   And I intend that all your intentions manifest quickly and solidly.  So be it and so it is.

  1. I love your wish. As you intend for yourself, I intend for you as well. New places and new people sounds very exciting to me.

  12. I'm curious to hear more about what you see as the difference between using the word intend versus wish. As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.

  14. Thanks everyone. And if I missed your blog, forgive me.

    My Courageous Life... When you say you "wish" for something, you are saying to the Powers That Be that you are content to continue waiting. That you do not completely trust you're going to get what you are wanting. When you say you "intend" you're making the statement that it's a for sure thing. As if it's already been given.

    The first time someone explained this to me about a year ago, I was like "yeah right you're just being snotty" but the more I watched their issues unfold, and the people closest to them manifest their desires simply because of their wording changes, I came to understand what they meant.
    It has a lot to do with the confidence level with the statements and the positivity you're putting into an "intention" vs a "wish".
    And I've come to notice it with myself too.

  15. Okay. I would put forth the idea though that is really isn't about wording, although every individual ought to use whatever word he or she desires to. It is about the feeling and emotion behind the statements.
